Randall Hines, MD

"The treatment of infertile couples is both challenging and rewarding. This is my passion."

Dr. Hines has been practicing reproductive medicine for over 19 years. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and his research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals. In 1996, Dr. Hines joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he held the positions of Professor, Division Director, and IVF Program Director. In August 2010, he established Mississippi Reproductive Medicine to continue practicing the science-based approach that has been effective throughout his career and to offer a welcoming environment for his patients.

Mrs. Gebhart is board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She attended Mississippi State University and was graduated summa cum laude from The University of Mississippi (UMC) School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science. She began her career in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center, and after gaining extensive experience in women's health, she returned to UMC School of Nursing and was graduated summa cum laude with a Master's of Science in Nursing.

In addition to her board certification as a Nurse Practitioner, she is also a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) and assists Dr Hines with all reproductive surgeries at MRM, including egg retrievals and embryo transfers, as well as in-patient and out-patient surgeries at Woman's Hospital, River Oaks Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and St Dominic's Outpatient Surgical Center. She has completed numerous continuing education hours including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine's certificate course in Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility. Mrs. Gebhart is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Mississippi Nurses Association, the Nurses Professional Group, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Mrs. Gebhart is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice as well from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She serves as a preceptor for students enrolled at The University of MS School of Nursing who are interested in women's and reproductive health. She is particularly interested in Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening (PGS) and is actively researching the determinants of decision making and the use of PGS as adjuvant therapy for couples embarking into IVF. She works with patients through the use of evidence-based practice guided by historical and current research.

Ms. Parks has many years of experience in reproductive medicine. She worked at UMMC with Dr. Hines for 14 years and focused on caring for IVF patients during that time. She enjoys not only the physical care of patients, but also interacting with them throughout the infertility process.

Kitt Conn, CMA

Kitt has 11 years of experience as a medical assistant including 3 years in reproductive medicine. She has past experience in a busy IVF practice in Texas. She assists in multiple aspects of patient care at MRM. Kitt assists in coordinating IVF cycles and helps guide patients throughout the IVF process. She has expertise in phlebotomy, patient teaching, electronic medical records, and andrology laboratory procedures. Kitt can answer questions about many aspects of the patient portal. She is an integral part of our day-to-day clinical activities. She is the proud mother of six children.

Sarah is a native of the Washington DC area. Sarah graduated from Fordham University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Theology. She is currently pursuing a nursing career. Sarah works throughout the clinic, including initial work-up, phlebotomy, and scheduling. She handles many questions related to hormonal testing. She enjoys running and spending time with her four children.

Carlos Guerrero

Dr. Carlos Guerrero  is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he received his PhD degree in Reproductive Physiology with emphasis in Embryology. Prior to joining MRM, Dr. Guerrero was a Senior Embryologist and Head of Research and Development at the THR Presbyterian-Harris Methodist ARTS Program in Dallas-Fort Worth,TX .He is board certified in Human Clinical Andrology and Embryology and is a High Complexity Clinical Laboratory Director and In Vitro Fertilization Laboratory Director by the American Board of Bioanalysis. As Laboratory Director, Dr. Guerrero oversees and is directly involved on a daily basis with the quality control/quality assurance and overall functioning of the Andrology, Endocrinology and Embryology Laboratories.

Rachael Phillips

Rachael has worked in women's health care for over 13 years, including experience in labor and delivery and at a large obstetric and gynecologic clinic in Jackson. Rachael graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses and has done numerous continuing education classes in women's health. She can answer questions about the donor egg program at MRM. She is also in charge of medication teaching for the IVF cycle. Rachael enjoys caring for patients throughout the infertility process to help them achieve their goal of becoming parents.
